So while our client pays the fee, our job is to find people a seat they will actually thrive in. That means our service to you costs nothing, and you deal with a person, not a CV-scanning machine.

Carriera is a private employment agency licensed by Malaysia's Ministry of Human Resources under JTKSM 615 — engaging a licensed agency is required by law, and it is the candidate's protection too. The Labour Department of Peninsular Malaysia (JTKSM) is explicit that the Private Employment Agencies Act 1981 “requires anyone undertaking recruiting activities to be licenced as an APS” (jtksm.mohr.gov.my). In practice that means you should never be charged to be represented, and your application is handled inside a proper legal framework.

Our service is free to candidates. The employer pays the fee — so you never do. If anyone asks a job seeker to pay to be placed, that is a red flag, not a recruiter.

• Permanent roles only. We place permanent white-collar positions, not temporary or gig work — so the move is one worth making.
• A real consultant. Because we are a small team, a person reads your CV, briefs you on the role, and prepares you for the interview.
• Confidential. We present you to one specific employer for one specific role — and talk to you first. Your CV is not scattered across the market.

There is no separate sign-up portal and no cost — submitting your CV through the jobs board is how you register with Carriera.
